this is exactly what the solok lada looks like

aside from laksam and ikan singgang, solok lada was also one of a traditional Terengganu's food.
solok lada actually was made from fish meat that were added with the grated coconut and were boiled in a coconut water. so lets get started with solok lada !

ingredients :
Black River fish ( ikan selayang ) - half a kilogram
Cayenne pepper - 9
Grated coconut - 3/4 of a coconut
Coconut milk - excess from the coconut
Red onion - 1 cloves (sliced)
Lemongrass - 3 stalks ( cut into small )
Salt

1) weed the fish and takes only the meat


2) mashed the fish meat with the grated coconut, the red onion and the lemongrass

3) put in some salt
4) cut out the center of the cayenne pepper and take out the seed
5) put in the the mashed ingredient into the cayenne pepper




 6) boil the solok lada with the coconut milk
